A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen – Book Review

A Street Cat named Bob is a heart warming story about an amazing bond between Human and Feline. Bowen depicts his life living on the streets and explains how he met Bob, a stray ginger cat, who soon became his best friend. Bob was injured when James first stumbled across him in the halls of his supported living accommodation. After trying and failing to locate Bob’s owner, James decided to take matters into his own hands and seek treatment for Bob’s injuries caring for him whilst he recovered with the intention of letting him go back to the streets afterwards.

Introducing Aurora to Milo – Getting A new Kitten.

Back in March, I decided to take in Milo, a grumpy half Persian cat, who I had previously been visiting for playdates. His owner’s kitten had sadly passed and Milo spent a lot of time alone due to his owners work commitments. I knew I could provide a lot more company for Milo due to being self-employed and being able to choose my own work. I took him in hoping I could make him a lot happier. He was an outdoor cat back in his previous house and came to live with me in my 2 bedroom flat, meaning he was unable to be outside. After moving into my new home and slowly introducing Milo to our back garden, I noticed he seemed much happier in our new house, as there was so much more space for him and it came with the possibility of being able to go back to living as an outdoor cat.

As some of you may know, April is National Pet First Aid Month, and here at the Wirral Woof Pack, we are proud to say that all of our staff are qualified in Pet First Aid and CPR. To raise awareness, in this blog post I am going to talk about Pet First Aid Boxes and what you should have in yours as well as the importance of knowing basic Pet First Aid.

Before the Coronavirus outbreak, I had decided I was going to start blogging on our website to share relevant information about our company as well as pet-related articles for all you pet lovers. Sadly, due to COVID-19, The Wirral Woof Pack has decided to temporarily suspend all walks and pet sitting, as we do not wish to put anyone at risk during these uncertain times.
